THOSE WHO ARE PREGNANT: Their bodies work harder to cool both cool themselves and the fetus.

PEOPLE WITH CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS:  Especially those with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, respiratory illnesses, kidney problems, and mental health conditions.

PEOPLE TAKING CERTAIN MEDICATIONS:(e.g., antidepressants) can interfere with the body's ability to regulate temperature.

OUTDOOR WORKERS AND ATHLETES:  Due to prolonged exposure and strenuous activity in the heat.

ECONOMICALLY DISAVANTAGED AND SOCIALLY ISOLATED INDIVIDUALS:
May have limited access to cooling or resources.
