Corn 🌽 Stalk, Potato 🥔 Plants and Lettuce Flowers

Some recent developments in the garden.  No more looking forward to eating the lettuce from these lettuce plants.  Now looking forward for seed development ..if Allah wills.

Pictured below is potato plants growing in a burlap bag.  Some potatoes 🥔 are already exposing themselves.

It is advised to wait until the plants die then harvest potatoes.

This morning I noticed more new leaf growth.

A Few More Potato 🥔 Plants

Pictured below is a cornstalk that recently

developed its tassels and silks.

The tassels have the pollen for the silks.  

Some gardeners will hand pollinate their corn silks by taking one of the

tassels and wiping on the silks. 

The wind and Ants can also transfer some of the 

pollen from the corn 🌽 tassels to the silks.

Corn 🌽 Stalk formed both tassels and its silks.
