Cauliflower and Cabbage Planted Again

Cabbage

If I remember right, it was about two years ago, if not three years ago when I had planted several cabbage seeds in a different area than what is shown of the recent cabbage that is growing this year, none of the cabbage was edible since having a problem with aphids.

I skipped a year being discouraged at what had happened.  This year I decided to give it another try planting Cabbage seeds in a container.  The picture above was the only surviving Cabbage from that batch.  I had transplanted into the area it is now at. It appears to be growing normally.  I planted more cabbage seeds hopefully I will be able to harvest some edible Cabbage.

This was where the cabbages were planted several years ago.  So was cauliflower.  I planted more cauliflower this year in the same area.  Cauliflower are big plants and need space from other plants to grow.   This year I am hoping to harvest some edible cauliflower.  If not then it will flower and go to seed.  Seeds were harvested at the beginning of last year.
