Cabbage Leaves Gathering

Cabbage leaves gathering together.

Earlier this summer this cabbage had wilted 

and a couple of its leaves had to be removed.

Now its leaves are starting to gather to gather.

 Waiting for Cabbage to flower?

Uh Oh....did not plant several plants?

"FLOWERING:  Cabbage requires a cool period before plants will flower.  

The flowers are perfect but will not self pollinate (self-incompatible), 

so be sure to plant several plants to ensure adequate fertilization  

and genetic diversity.  

The perfect flowers are insect-pollinated; 

the pollen is viable only for a short time."
